Fifty years ago, in April 1966, the last Emperor of Ethiopia, HIM Haile Selassie I visited Trinidad and Tobago. The first community Selassie visited after being greeted at the Piarco International Airport by Prime Minister Eric Williams, was the Borough of Arima where he was serenaded by a steel orchestra.
